OUR EDUCATION MODEL • Before our students begin their programs, they are supposed to take a placement test in order to determine their knowledge base. They are placed in programs and classes according to their levels and needs. • Puza Academy uses the whole method of learning as a baseline for its education programs. After lessons are taught in the most detailed way by our teachers who are experts in their fields, in-class applications start. At the end of lessons, students are given home woks and assigned tasks are controlled on a daily basis. • Every week a test is conducted for each lessons learned in order to determine students’ weaknesses. • Additional course schedules are created for students whose results are below the threshold determined. • Complimentary one-to-one learning programs are offered to students who need them. • Our teachers all have tablet computers with which they take attendance and control assignments. These reports are forwarded to parents’ telephones as instant notifications. Furthermore, our teachers register their weekly reports concerning our students in their applications. All registered reports are accessible to the parents on the Puza App. • Lessons are also taught via digital media with the help of smart boards. By way of these smart boards, interactive whiteboard materials prepared specifically for each lesson by Puza Publishing are utilized. Thus, it is ensured that students use all their senses to learn. • Our students can check their exam results that are updated on a daily basis, their rate of absenteeism, task schedules, success rates, teachers’ lecture notes and reviews via Puza Academy Student Follow-up Application by using their student numbers and passwords. Besides, counselling tests such as the career aptitude test, anxiety test and stress scale test can be utilized thanks to this application. Parents of our students can also follow their children’s situation instantly via these passwords which are also given to parents. THE SOCIAL AND FUN ACADEMY In Puza Academy, social skills are appreciated as a key for learning academics and adapting to the intercultural environment. In this Academy, students take place in many activities and participate in clubs & societies. The chess club tournaments, university campus tours, and cultural activities are only some of them.
