Outside the classroom, students take part in everyday activities with local Japanese residents, creating real opportunities to use the language in context. Local Life Japan is a small, community-based Japanese language school located in Akashi, a real residential city where everyday Japanese life happens. Our school is 2 min from the central station, with over 100 cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Akashi is not a tourist destination - and that is exactly why learning here is different. But if you want to explore Japan after school, we are 10 min away from Kobe and Awaji Island, 30 min from Osaka and weekend trip away from Kyogo, Nara and more.
